Fall at Girls Inc. is underway. After a successful summer camp program our sights are turned to our highly innovative after school core program serving 150 girls.
We want to thank you for your interest and generosity in the past and bring you fully on board with our goals for the year end. Girls Inc. serves 800 girls through outreach. Our girls are excelling in life. They are developing leadership and educational skills to empower them in the home, workplace and community. We are proud of their outstanding accomplishments. All of our girls were promoted to the next grade level with over half making the A/B honor roll. Every single girl has had the opportunity to participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities offered outside of Girls Inc. in partnership with the Society of Women Engineers North Alabama Chapter, and UA Huntsville. And, they love Girls Inc.!

“Girls Inc. is more than just an after-school or summer camp. It is my home away from home. If I did not come to Girls Inc. I would not have any place to go. I have been given so many opportunities at Girls Inc. I know that the staff cares about me and my future. At Girls Inc., I’ve learned to set goals and develop plans to achieve these goals. The College Bound program, in which we visit southeastern colleges and universities, has encouraged and excited me to go to college in just five short years. After visiting the University of Alabama’s campus last summer, I now have a strong desire to enter the merchandise apparel program at the college.”
